What is the “Shared Services” Pathway Audit?
The Pathway Audit is a focused senior management team questionnaire that reports back on the current status and capabilities of an organisation to embark on a shared services programme or assess one that has already started. This feedback consists of 10 separate dimensions based around the key steps in implementing shared services. The results will give your organisation a clearer view of the need and likelihood of success of any shared services programme and key recommendations on the way forward.
Why use it?
Research suggests that many companies do not take advantage of the benefits available from shared services by either not starting down this path or by failing to achieve an optimum business case. Identifying the real drivers , the opportunity and the scope are just some of the reasons these programmes fail The feedback report will enable decision making by the senior management team about the their organisations capability to realise the potential benefits from implementing shared services.
How do I use it?
Senior management team members complete an on-line questionnaire which takes less than 30 minutes each to complete. When the input is finished the results are analysed and very quickly a report about your organisation’s status and capability as well as the next steps is fed back by our author or a specialist consultant.
